There are so many decent website hosting companies around, how do you know which one is best for you? It’s a tough decision that shouldn’t come down to price. Yes, you might save yourself a few dollars each month, but you may not have the kind of positive experience you were hoping for.

On this page, you’ll find a few of the web hosting companies we use, or have used in the past, and are more than happy to recommend. You should be aware that we earn an affiliate commission if you sign up for their services after clicking one of our links, but you should also be aware that we’re not recommending these companies for the money.

They all provide an excellent service and we’re happy to recommend them.

Cloudways

Cloudways is at the top of this list because it’s the hosting company we use to run this site and it’s the one we recommend to anybody who asks for a recommendation.

It’s a cloud-based service powered by different data centers depending upon the package you choose. The base option, which is the one this site runs on, costs $10 per month. It’s powered by Digital Ocean.

Other options include Lindode, Vultr, Amazon AWS and Google Cloud.
